Over 1,000 evacuated as floods hit Sarawak

KUCHING: Over 1,000 people have been evacuated from their homes, as floods hit parts of Sarawak following continuous rain on Friday (Feb 5).

The state disaster management committee said as at noon, 1,041 evacuees from 338 families were sheltering in 18 temporary relief centres in four districts.
